Jim is a Director in FGMK’s Tax Practice with over 30 years of experience advising stakeholders and clients in the asset management industry.

Jim has advised clients in the hedge fund and private equity industries on cross boarder structuring, tax controversy matters, and state tax nexus issues. He has also assisted with management company structuring.

Prior to joining FGMK in 2025, Jim held positions as a tax director for a large family office in Chicago and as a lead client service partner at PwC in Chicago.
