Rory is a Director in FGMK’s Tax practice with over 15 years of experience in public accounting serving a variety of business entities across multiple industries and high net worth individuals.

Rory works extensively with private equity funds and real estate funds, developers, owners, and operators on tax compliance and structuring matters. He is a noted expert on joint venture formations, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in both partnership and corporate fields. He also has extensive experience in buy and sell-side tax due diligence, as well as specialized real estate transactions such as 1031 exchanges and UPREIT contributions.

Prior to joining FGMK, Rory was a tax partner at a large New York Metro firm. He has also previously worked as a senior manager in the mergers & acquisitions and real estate practices of both Big 4 and top 10 national firms.
